The last week in October is also Red Ribbon Week. Red Ribbon Week is a time for people and communities to unite and take a visible stand against drugs. We have some exciting activities planned at Bassetti for Red Ribbon Week. Check the calendar on Bassetti Elementary’s website for more information. Your child will also bring home a flyer mid-October detailing the week’s activities. Activities include:
- “Can” it to Drugs! A week-long canned food drive to benefit the Food Bank of West Central Texas
- Monday - Begin with the End in Mind- Bassetti Bears are college bound! (Wear your favorite university shirt)
- Tuesday - Synergize- United We Stand Against Bullying And Drugs! (Dress for Success/Picture day)
- Wednesday - Put 1st things 1st- Black Out Drugs! (Wear black clothing)
- Thursday - Think Win-Win! – Orange You Glad to be Drug Free? (Wear orange)
- Friday - Be Proactive- Sock It To Drugs! (Wear crazy socks)
